Every church has or lacks a measure of credibility based on the ministries that it carries out.  Our nursing home ministry is vitally important to us.  Through our outreach, God's love for us is channeled to others. 

We also care for the elderly because it's good, right, and noble--a biblical mandate, in fact.  We do it with no strings attached, no expectation of reward, and for no other reason other than this: We feel called to do it. 

The New Testament writer, James, said bluntly that "faith without action is dead."  If you observe our nursing home ministry in action, you'll know that Summit Baptist Church is very much alive!
